⊕ The Baer Necessities: Scheduled flights operate under CFR 135, 298 and 380. If you are booking a Round Trip flight, you must specify the date of both flights. We do not allow “open ended” ticketing. Reservations made less than 24 hours before scheduled departure/return may not be honored and travelers should call Baer Air to confirm their booking. Unless specified, fares include United States Federal Excise Tax (FET) and airport Passenger Facility Charges (PFC). PLEASE NOTE: There is an additional $25 Bahamas Departure Tax (children five and under are exempted) that is NOT included in the quoted fares and will be added when a flight departing the Bahamas is booked.

Each revenue customer may carry up to 30 pounds of baggage free of charge, any additional baggage will be charged at $1.00 per pound. Excessive baggage is subject to total aircraft weight and space availability. The carriage of animals, limited to cats and dogs, is acceptable provided the animal is in an enclosed cage or carrier throughout the flight. The weight of any animal will be included in the 30 pound without charge baggage limit. We suggest that you pack your items in the soft style carry-on type bags or duffle bags. All coolers need to be small and soft style type. Carryon baggage must be able to fit under the seat. This carryon baggage is limited to dimensions of 15" wide X 12" high X 14" deep. If the carryon baggage exceeds these dimensions then it will be deemed checked baggage and placed in the cargo compartment.

In order to ensure an on time departure check in with Baer Air at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure so we may process your paperwork and weigh you. If you have a flat tire but know you’ll still be able to make the scheduled departure time call our reservations number to let them know you’ll be there. If you don’t call, we may leave your sorry self behind. Because our fares are so cheap considering the cost of fuel and rising cost of everything associated with aviation except employee salaries, after 24 hours of purchase, we must charge a $50 fee for cancelling and having taken a seat out of inventory; however, you may modify your travel dates, subject to availability AND a $25 change fee per segment. If you are reading this you must have access to a computer and can book the flight yourself. If we have to do it for you, there is a $5 booking fee PER segment.

Okay, let’s end on a high note: You may transfer your confirmed ticket to another individual at NO additional charge provided they travel on the same flight you had been confirmed. As a matter of fact, if the traveler weighs less than you we encourage it!
